The Privatus Incubator
A Legal Incubator in Washington DC with Attorneys for Small Businesses. Traditionally, legal incubators emerged as models that enabled young lawyers to acquire the range of skills necessary to launch successful practices that expand access to legal services for those of low and moderate incomes. These incubators were focused on lawyers--not clients.
Privatus Counsel believes that promising start-ups as well as small and medium enterprises should have access to top-tier experiences that were too often afforded only to large corporations and wealthy individuals. The Privatus Legal Incubator in Washington DC was established to bring our expertise to early-stage businesses using affordable and creative fee structures.
We are reversing the script: With the Privatus Incubator, the client is the focus – not the attorney.

Pro Bono
Privatus Counsel believes law firms have a responsibility to give back to their communities. Our attorneys provide legal advice and support to individuals, nonprofits, and underserved communities that do not have access to legal representation, and whose needs further causes that are in line with our values, morals, and ethics. The services for which we provide pro bono help include general legal services, strategic consulting and board representations. Internship and Externship Programs
Privatus Counsel offers law students the opportunity to work closely with attorneys to gain hands-on legal experience and polish soft skills. You will perform research, write memoranda, and help with other operational activities for a variety of areas, including commercial, corporate, civil litigation and international law.
