Biography
Yousef manages Privatus Counsel's Michigan Office. He specializes as a corporate litigation and arbitration lawyer— in Detroit, across the US, and abroad. Yousef is also an experienced commercial attorney routinely involved in international and Detroit area M&A law, corporate formation, and franchise relationships.
Early in his career, Yousef worked with one of the largest American multinational law firms in the world—based in its Abu Dhabi office in the United Arab Emirates—on a variety of matters including breach of contract disputes and advising foreign companies on foreign direct investment and legal structuring into the region.
Yousef continues to represent a myriad of clients (as plaintiff and defendant) in high damage and exposure litigation involving large health care providers in insurance disputes.
Prior to joining Privatus Counsel, Yousef committed a portion of his practice to helping small to medium sized businesses and young entrepreneurs with expansion, development, acquisitions, and regulatory compliance. In addition to his work as a corporate litigation and arbitration lawyer in Detroit, he still enjoys counseling and advising small businesses and entrepreneurs in their journey to grow.
Yousef graduated magna cum laude within the top 5% of his class from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan where he earned numerous academic awards and distinctions through his law school career.
